Jerry Gepner, Chief Technology Officer, is a broadcast industry veteran who has been at the
forefront of some of the most important changes in live broadcast production. Prior to joining the
Group, Jerry was president of National Mobile Television where he was instrumental in the
development of multi-format HD production trucks for national and regional marketplaces. He
pioneered the use of now-standard technologies like multi-viewer based monitor walls and DDR based
replay infrastructures for field production. He also helped launch Venue Services Group, an NMT
owned systems design and integration company. Prior to this he was a co-founder and COO of
Sportvision, the technology company that created the virtual first down line and several other
graphical broadcast enhancements. His career began as a television mobile unit engineer and has
included management roles at CBS Sports and Fox Sports where he served as Executive Vice President
for Field Operations and Engineering. He has developed a reputation as an innovator and expert in
the field of live production technology. Jerry has received five Sports Emmy awards, the 2003
Broadcasting All-Star Award, the 1998 Deutsch Telekom DigiGlobe Award as well as eight patents in
the field of virtual imaging and television production technology.
